Overview
The microRADIBAL instrument is a radiometer that can be flown on a stratospheric platform to study the stratospheric aerosols. It measures, in the near infra-red range, the radiance and polarization of the sunlight scattered by the atmosphere, gas and aerosols, in a horizontal plane.
Product information
Micro-Radibal data set were provided by Colette Brogniez (LOA). The data are level 2 vertical profiles of March 8, 2004 and of August 18, 2009. The available data in Ether correspond to aerosol extinction coefficient at 865 and 730 Nm.
Data available from Ether
Micro-RADIBAL data have been obtained during GOMOS/ENVISAT validation. The access to the data is open. For publication purpose, authorisation from PI (Colette Brogniez) is required.
