Presentation
This instrument was developed by JAROS (Japan Resources Observation System Organisation) on behalf of MITI (the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry). It was launched on the ADEOS 1 satellite on 17 August 1996. It was a Fourier transform infrared interferometer for collecting and processing emission and absorption spectra from the Earth's surface and atmosphere in the thermal infrared range.
Products informations
Two types of IMG data are available through Ether for the period of the 1996-10-15 to the 1997-06-19 ; data from level 1 : 3 bands of 6 spectras and data from level 2 : vertical profiles.
Data available from Ether
Two tdata types are available: spectra data (level 1) named: IMG_L1D and vertcial profiles (level 2) named: IMG.
