The SDLA-LAMA instrument (for Spectromètre à Diode Laser Accordable Laser pour l'Analyse du Méthane Atmosphérique) is a balloon-borne, tuneable diode laser spectrometer designed for in situ measurements of water vapour and methane in the upper troposphere and the stratosphere.
