The RUMBA instrument

Overview

Nacelle RUMBA was developed by the LMD, and was installed under pressurized balloons, to produce meteorological observations of high precision, regularly during the flight.

Product information

The data were provided by François Vial (LMD/CNRS). The data are level 2 vertical profiles, in V1 version from 2004-02-06 to 2006-02-01 for temperature, pressure, méridional wind and zonal wind.
