IASI_BALLOON : Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer sous ballon

Overview

The LPMAA developed an experiment embarked under balloon known as IASI-balloon which uses an instrument FTIR of the type Bomem DA2. The instrument operates like a spectroradiometer based on a technique of calibration with 2 black bodies. The thermal emission (radiance) of the system "atmosphere/surface/cloud" in the spectral area 650-3000 cm-1 is analyzed with a spectral resolution of 0.1 cm-1 and a radiometric precision of 0.4 K.
